Who We Are

Shine Development Foundation (SDF) was established on 28 July 2021. It is an independent, non-political, not-for-profit and equal opportunity civil society organization, duly registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the Companies Act, 2017 (XIX of 2017), registration no. 0180554.

SDF is committed to empowering communities through vocational training, skills development, education support and essential WASH services. We aim to reduce unemployment, raise income levels and improve the standard of living by equipping individuals with practical skills to secure quality jobs and build sustainable livelihoods.

We adopt a holistic and integrated approach to community development, making sure our programs respond to local needs. We believe tailored solutions lead to the greatest impact. Our team's collective experience in development work, together with a deep understanding of local dynamics, lets us take on diverse challenges and deliver meaningful change.

Management Structure

SDF is managed through an organized hierarchy led by a Board of Directors, with Executive Managers for the Programs and Administration departments.

Policies & Procedures

SDF has developed clear and comprehensive policies and procedures for its management systems. These documented policies guide consistent handling of financial matters, human resources, administration and procurement, and form the foundation for control and accountability.

We have also developed manuals for project planning, reporting, implementation and regular performance review.
